Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking an Area Service Manager in Midland, TX to lead 8-12 Field Services Technicians and 1-2 Lead Service Technicians. You will budget, allocate resources, and travel up to 75% to support field operations and customer relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in gas compression, a college degree or equivalent experience, and strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Valid CDL and clean driving record preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of field experience in gas compression.
• College degree preferred or requisite job experience in the gas compression industry.
• Ability to configure gas compression equipment.
• Ability to work extended hours.
• Capable of driving a commercial-size truck.
• Valid driver's license with a Motor Vehicle Record history acceptable to USA Compression.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safety adherence and ensuring service standards are met.
• First-line support for troubleshooting issues.
• Hire, coach, motivate, and manage performance of field staff.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Maintain field-level customer relationships and proactive communication.
• Monitor fleet operation costs and meet targets.
• Coordinate field technicians and leads' activities.
• Advise Operations Director on major repairs.
• Ensure maintenance is completed on schedule.
• Travel up to 75% to field locations and with customers.
