Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Company seeks a seasoned Field Operations Manager to lead on-site operations for major customer projects. You will oversee field teams, inventory, scheduling, safety, and logistics from mobilization to demobilization, in a fast-paced field environment.

The role requires 5+ years in field operations with strong leadership, ERP and MS Office skills, and willingness for extended travel and relocation to project sites. This is a field-based, exempt, salaried position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in field operations or related environments.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Knowledge of receiving, inventory control, material handling, and customer service.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations from mobilization through daily operations and final demobilization.
• Coordinate site setup, equipment, inventory, technology, security, and material-handling processes.
• Oversee receiving, inventory control, staging, loading, delivery, VMI, kitting, returns, and field issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate inventory across yards, containers, vehicles, staging areas, and customer locations.
• Coordinate customer demand, project schedules, inbound supply, labor, equipment, and material availability.
• Serve as the primary on-site operational contact for customer field teams.
• Lead, schedule, train, coach, and develop Project Materials and Fulfillment teams and temporary/local labor.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with PPE, equipment, traffic control, housekeeping, and security requirements.
• Monitor labor, overtime, equipment, freight, and other project expenses.
• Communicate shortages, risks, schedule changes, and service issues and develop recovery plans.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Safety, Quality, HR, IT, Finance, Integration, and Copper State branches.
• Support inventory transfer, site restoration, and project demobilization.
