Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the daily field operations at the branch, ensuring efficient job execution and optimal use of labor and equipment while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

You will lead field personnel, support sales initiatives, and drive continuous improvements in operational efficiency and profitability. A strong leader with hands-on coaching will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of industrial experience (rigging and/or power generation a plus).
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on developing others.
• Ability to stay organized, juggle priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience training or mentoring others and completing formal/on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop field personnel to build a strong, engaged team.
• Coordinate job schedules, equipment, and field resources for smooth execution.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales to support customer needs and project success.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, DOT requirements, Qual Cards, safety audits, and equipment care.
