The role blends technical leadership with coaching, disciplinary actions, hiring, and succession planning to ensure safety, quality, and profitability across HVAC, data-center environments, and critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical field-service personnel in HVAC, mechanical systems, data centers, or similar environments.
• Experience coaching, performance management, and delivering difficult performance conversations.
• Experience interviewing, selecting, and developing technical employees.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel based on project needs and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and accountability of assigned field employees.
• Lead interviews for Field Technicians, Senior Technicians, Site Leads and similar roles.
• Develop development plans and track progression through the technical career path.
• Partner with HR on disciplinary actions and coaching.
• Balance staffing, skill mix, and deployment to meet project requirements.
• Coach Site Leads on leadership, productivity, and safety.
