Job summary

Metronet, a national fiber provider, is seeking a Field Operations Supervisor in Albuquerque, NM to lead all outside field operations and ensure timely completion of customer fulfillment for installation and repair.

You will hire and develop field technicians, manage tools, safety training, quality, and daily performance while maintaining a strong customer experience and compliance with OSHA, NEC, and Metronet standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cable franchise management.
• Knowledge of economic development.
• Proven outside plant construction knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with installation and maintenance of customer inside wire.
• Ability to use spectrum analyzer, OTDR, and other fault-diagnosis tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee selection, hiring, and career development of field technicians.
• Establish standards for tools and test sets for technicians.
• Manage tools and test set inventory and address loss issues.
• Develop training and skills programs for new hires and existing staff.
• Manage workplace safety and provide safety training as required.
• Ensure productivity and quality of work at the individual level.
• Promote customer-friendly service and Metronet standards.
