Job summary

Groundworks, North America’s leading foundation repair and water management specialist, is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations in New Mexico. You’ll supervise foundation and waterproofing projects, enforce safety, manage crews, and coordinate with clients and project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience supervising construction projects, preferably foundation-related.
• Strong knowledge of foundation repair techniques, waterproofing, crawl spaces, and leveling.
• Proven ability to lead multiple crews and subcontractors effectively.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and enforcement on sites.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schedules clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise onsite construction activities for foundation work.
• Coordinate crews and subcontractors to optimize workflow and project completion.
• Monitor schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct safety meetings.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure design specs and standards are met.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors regularly.
• Oversee logistics of equipment, materials, and site access.
• Mentor field staff and junior superintendents.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with budgeting and cost control for field ops.
• It is essential to report to work on time consistently.
