Job summary

Eversource is seeking a disciplined leader to oversee construction, operation, maintenance and emergency restoration of electric distribution and transmission systems. You will coordinate across departments, promote safety, and drive customer-focused outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring five years of related experience, supervisory background, and strong computer skills. Must hold a valid driver license; DOT license is preferred. Local travel within NH/MA/CT may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience required.
• Minimum of five years of related experience is required.
• Previous experience in electric distribution is preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is also preferred.
• Must maintain switching and tagging qualifications.
• Must have a strong knowledge of computers and related technology and have the ability to learn and utilize available information technologies.
• Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel).
• Valid Motor Vehicle License required.
• D.O.T. Driver’s License preferred.

• Provides leadership to ensure safe, timely and efficient completion of work relating to electric distribution and transmission systems.
• Ensures coordination among individuals and departments in the district/division.
• Promotes and enforces a safety-first work environment and culture.
• Engages and motivates employees to deliver the best customer experience.
• Accountable for safe execution of field activities and sets safety expectations.
• Resolves safety issues promptly and communicates lessons learned.
• Prepares, reviews, and approves time, expense, materials and other records.
• Serves as primary construction liaison with multiple departments and external stakeholders.
• Supports emergency restoration and on-call rotation as required.
