Job summary

Targa Resources in Texas seeks an experienced Operations Supervisor for the Red Hills complex. You will lead onsite operation teams, ensure safety, compliance, and performance, with a 14/14 schedule and field presence.

This role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and collaboration across Maintenance, E&I, Engineering, and ES&H, driving reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum education of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in oil and gas midstream plant operations with increasing responsibilities.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team including staffing, planning, timecard approvals, PTO/coverage scheduling and approval, employee hiring and retention, performance reviews, coaching and development, counseling, and corrective action plans.
• Direct daily, weekly, and monthly priorities for onsite Operation teams to complete in support of facility operation, ensuring safety, timeliness, and accuracy.
• Conduct facility audits to ensure quality completion of LOTO, permitting, inspections, and procedures.
• Spend ~30% of time in the field ensuring safe and efficient task performance.
• Enforce policies/procedures for safe execution of plans and maintenance, develop employees’ skills.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, I&E, Measurement, Engineering/Construction, Commercial, ES&H, and PSM to achieve results.
