Job summary

Total Sand Services, LLC (TSS) in Texas is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee day-to-day wellsite operations, drive efficiency, and lead a field team. You will implement improved processes and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely service delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, safety compliance, and excellent communication. Travel to sites may be required, and the schedule features a 10 days on / 4 days off, 12-hour shifts, with an exempt status.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role preferably in oil and gas industry.
• Proven experience in operations management or a related role, with a track record of improving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and technology to support operational processes.
• May require occasional travel to meet with suppliers or oversee operations at various locations.
• Maintain a valid driver's license that meets the Company’s insurance requirements.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the field operations team, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure a high-performing, customer focused, motivated workforce.
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess, develop and implement efficient and effective operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize operational outcomes.
• Customer Service: Ensure that all equipment used and services meet or exceed quality standards and are delivered to customers on time. Communicate with customers regarding the job before starting, during and after service is complete.
• Logistics and Inventory: Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams on distribution and delivery processes, sand inventory and overall improving the flow of products and materials.
• Compliance: Ensure the company's operations are in full compliance with relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports on operational performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to senior management.
