Job summary

Florida Atlantic Ironworks is seeking a Field Operations Manager to oversee field erection activities related to structural steel and miscellaneous metals. You will manage field teams to ensure safe, timely, and quality execution across multiple job sites.

Responsibilities include directing field supervision, coordinating manpower, and ensuring adherence to AISC, PCI, AWS, SDI, and SJI standards while maintaining OSHA compliance and safety programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in steel erection and field management.
• OSHA 30 certification required; additional rigging/signalperson certifications preferred.
• Ability to read structural drawings, erection plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct field superintendents, foremen, leadmen, and ironworker crews.
• Oversee steel erection operations across multiple job sites and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and lead safety audits, hazard analyses and incident investigations.
• Forecast labor needs, coordinate staffing, and support training of field personnel.
• Provide regular progress, labor and safety reports; collaborate with internal teams.
