Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a Superintendent I to support residential construction activities across Corvallis and Salem, OR. The role works under direct supervision to help maintain schedules, quality, and safety while gaining foundational site management experience.

Local travel between communities is expected with a focus on learning and growth. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, up to 1 year of field experience, and a willingness to relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Up to 1 year of relevant residential construction or field management experience at a Superintendent level.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; or 4 years of equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily residential construction activities for assigned homes in accordance with established schedules, plans, and company quality standards.
• Coordinate trade partner activities and verify completion of work in accordance with approved scopes and timelines.
• Perform routine inspections and report quality, safety, or plan deviations to the supervisor.
• Monitor jobsite safety and cleanliness and support enforcement of OSHA and company safety programs.
• Assist with scheduling and supporting municipal inspections and permit-related activities.
• Participate in homeowner orientations and walk-throughs, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate jobsite documentation, schedules, and inspection records as directed.
• Support team workflow by identifying issues and assisting with corrective actions.
• Provide mentorship and training to Assistant Superintendents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
