Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Ranger Support coordinator to lead and scale field operations across the Houston metro area. You will supervise Field Support Technicians at Zipping Points where goods are loaded and delivered, ensuring safety, reliability, and a world-class partner and customer experience.

You are a hands-on leader with ownership, capable of scaling operations, coaching teams, and driving continuous improvement in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in field operations, service, maintenance, logistics, or related technical environments.
• Experience managing or leading teams with coaching and development track record.
• Strong technical or mechanical aptitude to understand field-based systems and equipment.
• Comfort with fast-changing environments and real-time field decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the PHX area and spend significant time in the field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and E-Verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing Field Support Technician team across multiple regions, fostering safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Own day-to-day field support operations across assigned Zipping Points, maintaining readiness, reliability, and performance.
• Manage team scheduling and staffing to ensure consistent coverage across locations.
• Coach and develop your team to improve technical capability, operational execution, and customer interaction.
• Partner cross-functionally with Flight Operations, Customer Operations, and other internal teams for seamless execution.
• Ensure Zipping Points maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality; oversee preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve operations.
• Act as escalation point for field issues; support troubleshooting and resolutions.
• Use data and field insights to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Maintain relationships with on-site partners, representing Zipline professionally.
