Job summary

Bermex, Inc. is seeking a Line Locator Supervisor to oversee underground utility locating work.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and leads a team of Line Locator Technicians, managing daily ticket workload, field performance, and compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will develop employees, monitor quality, and support field operations while maintaining a strong safety culture across the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 21+ years old and valid driver's license.
• Experience in damage prevention or utility line locating is required.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Current OQ training or ability to obtain OQ qualifications.
• Knowledge of 811/ticket management and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line locator technicians and set safety, quality, and productivity expectations.
• Oversee daily ticket assignments and field performance to meet client expectations.
• Monitor and coach employees; conduct evaluations and training.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and proper documentation of work.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and field operations and assist as needed.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues.
