Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking an Operations Supervisor based in Joliet, IL to lead field operations, drive safety and reliability, and guide a high-performing team. You will oversee district activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate maintenance and projects to deliver energy resources safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include budgeting for Capital and O&M, managing equipment and facilities, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum seven (7) years with mechanical and pipeline systems.
• Supervisory and asset management experience.
• Operations experience with pipeline, measurement, pressure regulation or compressor stations.
• Knowledge of safe handling of flammable gases and high/low pressure systems.
• Experience in the Chicago market area.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversee planning and direction of all activities within the District.
• Manage PHMSA and regulatory requirements and represent the Company during inspections.
• Develop O&M procedures, site procedures, project scopes and work plans.
• Monitor and implement company procedures, standards and best practices.
• Oversee safety program, environmental compliance, training and development.
• Ensure Operator Qualification requirements are met for all employees.
• Identify and correct safety and environmental concerns.
• Budget for Capital and O&M, forecast needs for the area.
• Operate and maintain equipment including pipelines, compressors, valves and related systems.
• Oversee construction and maintenance by third parties.
