Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. looks for an Operations Specialist to support the operation and maintenance of pipelines and compression facilities at 750 N. Elmhurst Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.

The role is Monday–Friday with on-call nights and weekends, requiring strong teamwork and a safety-first mindset. You will work with landowners and third parties, oversee maintenance activities, and ensure compliance with PHMSA, EPA, and other regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year technical or mechanical background desirable.
• Industry education, training, or experience is a plus.
• Relevant certifications and progression are encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pipelines and compression facilities with strong safety focus.
• Install, repair, service, and maintain valves and pipeline appurtenances.
• Maintain facilities, right-of-way, and storage areas; support capital and maintenance projects.
