Job summary

Coastal Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Officer to join our growing contract security team. This hands-on role requires leadership, adaptability, and a willingness to step in wherever coverage is needed.

You may work days (1st or 2nd shift) or nights (3rd shift) with weekend availability, and there is no fixed schedule. You will fill open shifts, support officers and supervisors, mentor site staff, visit sites to check personnel and equipment, and make sound field decisions.

Responsibilities

• Fill open shifts across our sites — you're the first call when an officer can't make it in, ready to step in and keep coverage solid
• Support other officers and supervisors wherever coverage is needed, helping sites run smoothly
• Lead by example — train, coach, and support site staff, and help new officers and supervisors get up to speed
• Visit sites regularly to check in on personnel and equipment, and make sure everyone is set up to succeed
• Take ownership — make sound decisions in the field and know when to loop in leadership
• Jump into other projects as needed; we're a team that helps each other out
