Job summary

Entergy Mississippi is hiring a Field Coordinator II-CP to oversee field construction activities for transmission, substation and distribution projects. You will direct contractor resources, monitor safety, quality and schedule, and ensure work aligns with approved plans and company standards.

This onsite role requires 5+ years of field experience, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate outages, material logistics, and energized work plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards, develop project scopes, estimates and schedules; coordinate materials and crews.
• Lead internal and contract crews on electrical and mechanical tasks for transmission and distribution.
• Ensure progress aligns with project schedule, perform QA/QC and provide as‑builts.
• Coordinate material orders, outages, staging, and site readiness; support storm restoration.
• Oversee safety and performance of contractors and company personnel; ensure compliance with standards.
• Contribute to construction plans and mitigation strategies to improve project outcomes.
