Job summary

V2X is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator at Fort Irwin, CA to orchestrate site operations, fleet management, and JCR support. You will collaborate with site leadership, fleet and JCR personnel, and customer representatives to maintain readiness and optimize asset use.

The role requires experience with vehicle fleets, defense communications, and strong organizational skills; MS Office proficiency and the ability to obtain a security clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle fleets (light/heavy).
• Familiarity with military or defense communications; exposure to JCR or similar digital C2 systems is desirable.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and coordination skills.
• Effective leadership and team coordination.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers, leadership, and staff at all levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn fleet/JCR tools.
• Ability to obtain/maintain U.S. Government security clearance if required.

Responsibilities

• Site Operations Management: coordinate daily site operations to meet requirements.
• Fleet Coordination: manage day-to-day fleet operations including scheduling and maintenance coordination.
• JCR Operations Oversight: ensure JCR systems are configured, monitored, and maintained.
• Planning & Coordination: align site activities with fleet/JCR requirements in plans.
• Leadership & Personnel Oversight: direct assigned staff and monitor performance.
• Compliance, Safety & Quality: enforce safety and regulatory requirements; support audits and records.
• Continuous Improvement & Reporting: identify process improvements and track KPIs.
