Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related
• Ability to travel or relocate as needed
• Ability to work full-time during the summer (approximately May-August)
• Access to construction sites in various climates and environments
• Demonstrated ethics, initiative and safety passion
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, operation planning, cost control and scheduling
• Quantity tracking, material procurement and contract administration
• Estimating and supervision of field activities
• Maintain records of job progress and costs
• Review plans to determine material requirements and pricing
• Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate delivery of materials
