Job summary

Kiewit Corporation invites energetic students to join a summer internship in civil construction management within the Southeast District. You will gain hands-on experience in field engineering, planning, cost control, and scheduling while contributing to real projects such as bridges and tunnels.

We seek undergrad/grad students in civil engineering or construction management who can travel, relocate, and commit to May–August.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergrad/grad degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• Willing to travel or relocate as needed.
• Ability to work full-time during summer (May–August).
• Strong work ethic, safety orientation and initiative.
• Effective written and verbal communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, and material tracking.
• Support procurement and contract administration on site.
• Assist with plans, specifications review and quantity verification.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite material delivery.
