Job summary

Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) is seeking a Field Services Coordinator in New Jersey to coordinate field service operations, manage repair/warranty activities, and support customer service across projects. You’ll serve as the communications hub among customers, field technicians, subcontractors, and project teams, prioritizing requests and tracking progress.

The role emphasizes scheduling, documentation, and data reporting to support efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Construction Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Three (3) or more years coordinating service operations, dispatching, customer service, or similar operational functions.
• Strong organizational, scheduling, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and business management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field service schedules, service requests, warranty work, and repairs.
• Assign service work based on technician availability, geographic coverage, customer requirements, and priorities.
• Monitor daily field activities and communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain service calendars, work queues, and dispatch records.
• Assist in coordinating subcontractor activities and service assignments.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customer service inquiries.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Escalate complex issues to management when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service histories.
• Coordinate material availability and documentation for field personnel.
• Review work orders and track service activity metrics.
• Assist with warranty documentation and service closeouts.
