Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator with extensive automotive experience to conduct vehicle inspections and coordinate with dealerships. You will document inspections, ensure compliance with OPENLANE standards, and report findings through our mobile app.

This role emphasizes accurate reporting, dealership coordination, and collaboration across internal teams. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in automotive roles, a valid license, and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive experience as a vehicle mechanic or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Proficiency with OPENLANE's mobile inspection app and electronic submission of reports.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle assessments documenting engine, transmission, interior, and exterior inspections using OPENLANE's mobile application.
• Coordinate with dealerships and ensure adherence to OPENLANE standards and guidelines for vehicle inspections.
• Submit accurate and detailed inspection reports through the designated platform.
• Assist in marketing efforts by distributing flyers and promotional materials to buying dealers.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and dealerships.
