Job summary

OPENLANE is seeking a Field Operations Coordinator in Los Angeles to support vehicle inspections and dealer coordination. You will conduct thorough vehicle assessments, document findings, and ensure compliance with OPENLANE standards using our mobile app.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of automotive experience, a valid driver's license, and proven organizational and communication skills to collaborate with the operations and sales teams, and to service dealerships across the region;

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive experience as a vehicle mechanic or equivalent mechanical background.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Proficiency with electronic submission of inspection reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle assessments, documenting engine, transmission, interior, and exterior inspections via OPENLANE's mobile app.
• Coordinate with dealerships and ensure adherence to OPENLANE standards for inspections.
• Submit accurate and detailed inspection reports through the designated platform.
• Assist in marketing by distributing flyers and promotional materials to buying dealers.
• Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and dealerships.
