Consigli Construction Co. is seeking a Field Operations Intern to support safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and field documentation on active projects in Pleasant Valley, NY.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude for CM software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and submittals.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
• Basic understanding of CPM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support administration of the project safety program to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
• Provide technical assistance by interpreting contract drawings, submittals, and project documentation.
• Assist the field team with daily/weekly activities, including daily reports, safety walks, quantity reports, and schedule updates.
• Develop understanding of the overall project schedule and critical path analysis.
• Review and contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to support timelines and safety requirements.
• Maintain project documentation such as daily logs, RFIs, and submittal tracking.
• Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory to facilitate progress.
• Participate in project team meetings and communicate updates and challenges.
• Observe site conditions that could impact schedule, cost, or safety.
• Utilize construction management software to track project information.
