Job summary

Stryker Corporation seeks a Field Operations Associate to assemble, inspect, and deliver medical devices across a defined territory. You will regularly travel to customer sites and ensure product integrity from receipt to delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Expect a field-based schedule with some overtime and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Participation in on-call rotation as required.

Responsibilities

• Compile and inspect incoming/outgoing kits for compliance and make medical device deliveries.
• Inspect products and record damaged, defective, shortages, and movement using computer systems.
• Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas per safety regulations.
• Coordinate with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or carriers to expedite deliveries.
• Investigate customer complaints and track service levels; solve discrepancies.
• Work with internal resources for alternative product obtainment (loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments).
• Organize, retrieve, or place goods from/into stock received via multiple sources.
• Load, unload, or stack containers while checking sterility and implant/instrument condition.

Work Flexibility

Field-based Schedule 1st Shift: Mon – Fri, 8am – 4:30pm Overtime based on business needs On-call rotation, required

Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.

What you will do

• As a Field Operations Associate, you will compile and inspect incoming/outgoing kits for compliance with specifications and usage, and make medical device deliveries.
• Inspect products and keep record of damaged, defective, shortages of, movement of, and expired products using computer systems
• Check inventory records to determine availability of requested products
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Confer with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace deliveries
• Investigate customer complaints and track service levels/problem solve any discrepancies
• Work with internal resources for alternative product obtainment (e.g., loaner bank, other warehouses, consignments)
• Organize, retrieve, or place goods from/into stock received via multiple sources
• Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products while checking for sterility, missing/broken implants & instruments
• Deliver equipment to customer sites and arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return)

What you need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years relevant work experience
• Possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekends and evenings call as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Preferred Medical device, sterile processing experience Warehouse/ inventory control experience in a fast-paced environment

Travel Percentage: 10%

$23.90 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.
