Job summary

AbbVie Oncology is seeking an Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) to proactively engage allied health professionals with product and disease education. The role focuses on patient management education, dosing, administration, and side effect management across hematologic and solid tumor cancers.

The ONE will travel up to 50% and collaborate with sales, marketing, medical and clinical value teams to support education initiatives in academic and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, NP, PA or PharmD required.
• 7+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience; recent hematology experience; academic or community practice experience.
• Proficiency in interpreting clinical data and pharmacoeconomic data.
• Ability to travel ~50% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Proactively educate allied health professionals on product and disease education across before, during and after patient management.
• Develop customized education plans from account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Educate on patient identification and role of therapies for hematologic and solid tumor malignancies.
• Deliver education programs via 1:1 presentations, in-services, round tables, and podium presentations.
• Document interactions and share clinical insights with internal teams.
