Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Field Office Manager for a project at LAX in Los Angeles, CA. This role provides leadership over jobsite accounting, payroll, and administrative functions to support the project staff.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–10 years of progressive field office management with construction accounting experience, including AIA billing and ERP systems. The candidate will report to the Operations Controller and collaborate with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5–10 years field office management experience.
• 3–5 years accounting experience in construction preferred.
• Accounting background with cost plus billings experience preferred.
• AIA billing experience in ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly pay requests in accordance with contract terms.
• Oversees field payroll documentation for hourly and salaried staff.
• Processes invoices and pay requests from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitors subcontractor payments with proper backup documentation.
• Maintains project job-cost reports to support pay apps.
• Ensures bonding and insurance documents are on file.
• Assists project manager with closeout and final billing.
• Maintains project filing system and general office duties.
