Job summary

Kiewit offers an Intern position in the Bridge & Marine District, providing hands-on learning related to construction management. You will review drawings, submittals, schedules, material takeoffs, and pay requests, while participating in contract changes and project documentation.

The role supports both administrative and field activities, with opportunities to supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors. This is a summer internship designed to develop core construction skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Ability to travel and relocate as required by business needs.
• Wanting to gain hands-on construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Review shop drawings, submittals, schedules, take-offs and pay requests.
• Assist with contract changes and project documentation.
• Support administrative and construction activities as assigned by supervisor.
• Learn to supervise subcontractors and communicate with vendors.
• Maintain records on job progress, costs and materials.
