Job summary

Transco Rail Services, part of Marmon Holdings, Inc., is seeking an organized Field Operations Clerk to handle clerical and administrative duties for the mobile/mini office and ensure smooth operations. This role supports supervisor needs, prints repair records for invoicing, and ensures accurate payroll data.

You will prepare monthly reports, purchase orders, and coordinate with locations and vendors while contributing to safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of office experience.
• Knowledge of computers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical, administrative, and secretarial support to the supervisor to ensure a smoothly run office operation.
• Prepare BRC's based on information received from supervisors to provide an accurate record of car repair for invoicing purposes.
• Record, check, and transmit man-hours to payroll to ensure accurate processing of the hourly payroll.
• Prepare various monthly reports as required.
• Prepare purchase orders, order materials and ensure receipt of materials matches purchase orders.
• Participates in and actively supports Safety, Quality projects and activities.
