GFT is seeking an Assistant Resident Engineer to join our Construction Services Team in New York, NY to support construction management activities on public works projects. This role requires regular attendance in the New York, NY office and involves field and office work.

Responsibilities include reviewing SOPs and plans, preparing daily Inspector’s Reports, tracking payments, and using e-Builder, Procore, and P6 for scheduling and documentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with construction management exposure.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required.
• FE certification or ability to obtain within one year.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting a Project Manager on multi-disciplinary public works projects.

Mansioni

• Read SOPs, plans, specs, payment basis, submittals, and Change Orders.
• Monitor and document field construction activities; prepare daily Inspector’s Reports.
• Maintain a daily report repository for inspectors.
• Track Time & Materials and payments from outside agencies.
• Utilize e-Builder, Procore, and P6 for scheduling and documentation.
• Prepare agendas and summarize meeting outcomes for stakeholders.
• Update progress reports including ETC and narrative technical updates.
• Assist in monthly applications for payment calculations and project closeout.
