Children's Hunger Alliance in Cincinnati, OH seeks an Afterschool & Summer Food Service Specialist to coordinate CACFP ASAR and SFSP programs across Southwest Ohio. Responsibilities include site applications, onboarding, training, and ongoing compliance monitoring, plus expanding partnerships.

The role requires up to 60% travel, strong Excel and Office skills, and the ability to navigate federal/state guidelines. Hybrid office with extensive field work. CHA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in nutrition, public health, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and organizational guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to groups.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the annual site applications and food order launches for regional partners.
• Conduct daily field visits to monitor operations and ensure CACFP ASAR and SFSP compliance.
• Provide hands-on support, retraining, corrective action management, and resolutions.
• Facilitate annual regulatory and operational training for partner staff.
• Serve as primary contact for participating sites, offering guidance and admin support.
• Review and adjust daily food orders based on attendance to minimize waste.
• Build partnerships with local community organizations and recruit new sites.
• Partner with Claims Services and internal departments to ensure efficient workflows.
• Participate in meetings and assist with statewide meal donation logistics.
