The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with strong investigative and reporting skills, able to interpret policies and collaborate with program management to ensure provider compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Texas or a state that recognizes reciprocity through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Two years of experience providing services in a health care setting as a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site residential surveys and investigations of Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and TxHmL Medicaid providers to assess compliance with state and federal laws and rules.
• Investigate abuse, neglect, and exploitation; document findings with detailed written reports.
• Travel statewide to different providers within a region and across the state; provide on-call coverage for emergencies.
