Job summary

Compass Pathways plc is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of an innovative mental health therapy across Indianapolis, IN and surrounding markets. This field-based role requires building trust with psychiatrists and treatment centers, educating providers on disease states and patient selection, and navigating reimbursement and access pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.
• Experience with specialty treatment centers, IDNs, academic medical centers, or complex site-of-care models is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and guidance on referral pathways.
• Collaborate with certified treatment sites to support onboarding and optimization of workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics and patient flow considerations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and assisting providers with access challenges.
• Gather and communicate actionable field insights to inform brand strategy and launch execution.
• Manage territory business planning, account prioritization, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, and patient-centric engagement.
