Job summary

Luna Data Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Network Technician for a long-term contract in Austin, TX. You will replace and install network equipment at remote sites, including Meraki MX, AT&T AIA-B, and Starlink hardware.

Responsibilities include equipment verification, staging, and coordinating with remote-site personnel. Travel is limited and support spans onsite and remote troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs network hardware.
• Performs basic operation, monitoring, installation, troubleshooting, relocations, and maintenance of network equipment.
• Collaborates with network and infrastructure teams for incident resolution.
• Maintains documentation, standards, and monitoring best practices.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace routers, switches, firewalls, wireless equipment, and related network hardware.
• Verify equipment, cabling, power, and installation materials prior to deployment.
• Assist with equipment staging, labeling, configuration, and shipment to remote locations.
• Track shipments, verify receipt, and coordinate returns for replaced equipment.
• Coordinate installation activities with remote-site personnel and contractors.
• Verify network connectivity and operation after installation.
• Follow network engineering standards and configuration requirements.
• Travel to remote locations to support installations (up to ~5%).
• Provide remote and onsite technical support during replacements.
• Maintain project documentation and site information.
