Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks a Field Operations Technician to install, repair, and test telecom equipment (Nokia, Infinera, Ciena) for clients across North America. You will perform on-site installation, repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, and conduct OTDR testing to ensure quality and reliability.

You must demonstrate a strong technical background, customer-focused communication, and the ability to work independently while adhering to Ledcor safety standards in dynamic

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in telecommunications, business installation and service for electronics, appliances, security, and/or cabling.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication in a customer-facing role.
Strong technical background with ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service on every client site.
Resolve customer issues professionally using de-escalation techniques.
Perform on-site installation and repair of internet services, copper and fiber cabling, demarc extensions, and rack-mounted networking equipment.
Diagnose technical problems and implement solutions, including running new cable and replacing hardware components.
Follow Ledcor safety standards and proper use of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
