Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Field Operations Technician with 5+ years of telecommunications experience to perform installation, repair, configuration and testing of MACD on Nokia, Infinera and Ciena gear. You will support customer optical, electrical, voice and data services, testing circuits with OTDR where required, and travel with a company vehicle for on-site work.

The role emphasizes elite customer service, de-escalation skills, and adherence to Ledcor safety standards in a dynamic field

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in telecommunications and installation services.
• Strong customer service orientation with professional de-escalation skills.
• Technical degree or diploma from a technical college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, configure and test MACD on Nokia, Infinera and Ciena equipment.
• Test circuits using OTDR as needed.
• Work on-site at customer locations performing installation and repair of internet, copper and fiber cabling.
• Provide elite customer service and de-escalate concerns professionally.
• Maintain Ledcor safety program and travel with company vehicle.
