Job summary

Trickdogtechnology is hiring four Network Deployment Engineers to install, configure, and validate enterprise network devices across hospitals, clinics, and care facilities throughout Wisconsin.

This field-based role requires frequent travel with travel costs covered; you will work onsite in clinical environments, following VLAN, QoS and wireless design guidelines, and collaborating with client network teams during cutovers and post-deployment checks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Strong knowledge of wireless AP installation and configuration (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, or similar).
• Experience with VLAN configuration and Layer 2 networking.
• Comfortable working onsite in hospitals/clinical environments.
• Ability to travel frequently within Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure enterprise network equipment, including wireless APs and switches.
• Replace legacy hardware across hospitals and clinics.
• Follow VLAN, QoS, security settings, and wireless design guidelines.
• Perform onsite surveys for cabling, mounting, PoE readiness, and environmental requirements.
• Document installations with location notes, photos, and validation results.
• Collaborate with client network teams during cutovers and post-deployment checks.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate when needed.
• Provide updates to project management on sites, timelines, and risks.
• Maintain safety and professionalism in clinical settings.
