Core4ce is seeking a Junior Network Deployment Technician to support staging, deployment, and sustainment of a global enterprise network and security infra. You will bridge physical deployment, multi-vendor routing/switching, and SD-WAN edge implementations.

The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, travel up to 75%, and hands-on work with Cisco/Ruckus devices, Palo Alto firewalls, and virtualization platforms. Strong problem solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of hands-on experience in administration, deployment, or field engineering.
• Knowledge of Palo Alto NGFWs (PAN-OS) and/or Cisco security products.
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS/IOS-XE platforms.
• Fiber optic installation, connectors, and diagnostic test sets.
• Proficiency in Visio, terminal emulators, Wireshark, and network monitoring tools.

Responsabilités

• Site Deployment, Turn-up & Field Operations at remote sites.
• Travel domestically and internationally to execute engagements and deployments.
• Coordinate pre-trip deployment logistics and cabling tasks.
• Perform rack-and-stack, cable management, and power distribution work.
• Configure, test and troubleshoot enterprise routing/switching (Cisco, Ruckus).
• Implement and validate SD-WAN edge appliances and traffic failover.
• Configure VLANs, 802.1Q trunking, STP, LACP, OSPF/BGP routing.
• Deploy and configure PAN-OS firewalls and security policies.
• Maintain DoD STIGs and security baselines; support VM hosts and hypervisors.
• Create and update site diagrams and deployment documentation.
• Coordinate pre-install calls with POCs, project managers, and cyber teams.
• Schedule maintenance windows with controlled cutovers and minimal disruption.
• Provide escalation support for on-site issues from cabling to hardware failures.
