Job summary

Basic ITS is seeking a Network Implementation Specialist to support deployment and configuration of enterprise communication solutions in healthcare environments. The role offers hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, wireless, and voice technologies while working with experienced project teams.

This client-facing position requires strong communication and professionalism in a fast-paced environment, with travel across Illinois as needed. On-site role in Peoria, IL, with a long-term contract.

Qualifications

1–3 years of networking experience preferred.
Experience with LAN/WAN environments preferred.
Associate degree in Networking, Information Technology, Communications, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel).
Strong customer service mindset and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and deploy network and communication equipment (LAN/WAN/wireless/voice).
Support wireless deployments, LAN implementations, and VoIP migrations.
Perform basic troubleshooting of network, IT equipment, and communications.
Document project activities and update technical docs; communicate progress to teams and clients.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Implementation Coordinators to complete deployments and upgrades.
Assist with technology implementations while maintaining high customer service.
