Job summary

Trickdogtechnology is hiring 8 Network Deployment Engineers to install, configure, and validate enterprise network devices across NY and AZ. This field-based role requires frequent travel, with travel costs fully covered. You will install devices, verify VLANs and QoS, and support cutovers with the client’s network team.

Responsibilities include on-site surveys, documentation, and post-deployment checks while maintaining safety and professionalism. Prior Ethernet/WAN experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Experience installing and configuring wireless access points and following wireless design guidelines.
• Experience with switch provisioning, VLAN configuration, and Layer 2 networking.
• Willingness to travel frequently within NY and AZ.

We are supporting a large retail bank as they roll out a major network hardware deployment across locations in NY and AZ. We are hiring 8 Network Deployment Engineers to install, configure, and validate newly purchased network devices throughout the client’s environment.

This is a field-based role with frequent local travel. All in-state travel costs (mileage, lodging, per diem) are fully covered.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure enterprise network equipment, including wireless access points and access-layer switches

• Replace legacy hardware with new devices across hospitals, clinics, and remote care facilities

• Follow existing network standards for VLANs, QoS, security settings, and controller-based wireless configuration

• Perform onsite surveys to confirm cabling, mounting, PoE readiness, and environmental requirements

• Document each installation with location notes, photos, and validation results

• Collaborate with the client’s network team during cutovers and post-deployment checks

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and **escalate** when needed

• Provide clear updates to project management on completed sites, timelines, and any risks

• Maintain a strong focus on safety and professionalism

Required Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networking

• Strong working knowledge of wireless access point installation and configuration (Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, or similar)

• Experience mounting APs, validating signal, confirming switch port readiness, and following wireless design guidelines

• Experience with switch provisioning, VLAN configuration, and general Layer 2 networking

• Ability to travel frequently within Phoenix and Long Island areas.

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
