Job summary

EXO Inc. is seeking an NDT Technician in Columbus, OH to inspect structures and utility poles using non-destructive testing methods. The role ensures safety, reliability, and quality through detailed reporting and data-driven insights.

You will perform inspections, document findings, and collaborate with stakeholders to support corrective actions. Travel up to 75% and work in field environments are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with NDT or related field preferred.
• Proficient understanding of utility poles, corrosion, cracks, flaws, and safety standards.
• NDT Level 2 UT, MT, PT certifications; Shear Wave and CWI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of structures and utility poles based on safety guidelines and standards.
• Assess structural integrity; check for corrosion, cracks, flaws; calibrate equipment and interpret results.
• Ensure safety compliance; identify hazards and recommend actions.
• Document findings into data collection app with photos and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate outcomes and support actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of inspection procedures and tools.
