Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Columbus is seeking an Onsite NDT Technician to support non-destructive testing with Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, and Eddy Current methods. This role is based in Columbus, GA, onsite and focuses on hands-on testing in an FAA-regulated facility.

You will assist with equipment setup, calibration and operation, document results on travelers, perform daily walk‑arounds, and maintain a clean inspection area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• NDT Level 1 certification preferred.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing and quality procedures.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP P/AP/Repairman license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid in non‑destructive testing using multiple methods (LPI, MT, UT, ET).
• Assist with selecting, preparing, loading, calibrating or operating NDT equipment.
• Document results on product travelers and maintain inspection records.
• Perform daily walk‑around and keep the inspection area clean and organized.
• Complete classroom theory, on‑the‑job training and required certification.
