Job summary

EXO Inc. is seeking an NDT Technician to inspect structures and utility poles using non-destructive testing methods, ensuring safety and integrity. The role includes documentation, reporting findings, and recommending corrective actions to extend service life.

Travel and fieldwork are required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance. The candidate should have an NDT Level 2 UT/MT/PT certifications, a minimum of one year in NDT or related fields, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with NDT or a related field preferred.
• Proficient understanding of utility poles, corrosion, cracks, flaws, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed inspections of structures and utility poles following safety guidelines and company protocols.
• Evaluate structural integrity, identify corrosion or cracks, and interpret results per codes and standards.
• Ensure safety compliance and propose actions for repair or replacement.
• Record inspection data into data collection systems with photos and notes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate outcomes and support implemented actions.
• Contribute to improvements in inspection procedures and tools.
