Job summary

ATANE Engineers, P.C. is seeking a motivated NDT Inspector/Technician specializing in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) to support infrastructure bridge projects in southern Massachusetts.

The role requires hands-on field assessment, open to in-state travel, and flexible work schedules including nights and weekends for quality assurance. The candidate will perform UT and visual testing on structural steel components, document findings, and collaborate with project teams to ensure safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED – Required.
• ASNT SNT-TC-1A MT/PT/UT/RT/ET certification – Preferred.
• NDT testing of structural steel components – Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and UT testing of structural steel bridge components and welded connections.
• Prepare clear daily inspection reports and maintain documentation.
• Communicate findings to project team and clients.
• Collaborate with project managers and QA staff to meet deliverables.
