Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Technician to perform basic maintenance on tractors, trailers, and related equipment at customer sites or rail yards. Work may occur outdoors, across various shifts, including nights and weekends, with overtime potential.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a clean driving record, and the ability to supply basic tools or purchase through the toolbox program. Safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends and multiple shifts.
• Basic maintenance and diagnostic skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and equipment.
• Follow safety requirements at customer sites or rail yards.
• Operate service truck and keep it stocked and clean.
• Complete work orders and document damages for subrogation.
• Demonstrate basic use of cutting torch and welding tools; minor repairs.
