Job summary

Arcus Restoration in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a reliable Mitigation Technician/General Labor to support field operations involving water, fire, and mold damage. This hands-on, customer-facing role requires professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to work efficiently during property damage events.

You will set up and operate drying equipment, document damage, coordinate with insurance adjusters, and follow safety standards.

Qualifications

• GED, High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of water, fire, and mold restoration principles.
• Ability to operate restoration equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina for manual labor and ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt on‑site operations.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls for water, fire, and mold damage mitigation and restoration.
• Perform detailed inspections and document the extent of damage using industry-standard tools and software.
• Set up and operate drying equipment, dehumidifiers, air movers, and other machinery.
• Remove damaged materials and apply antimicrobial treatments.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including photographs and moisture readings.
• Coordinate with insurance adjusters, contractors, and clients to facilitate restoration processes.
• Provide clear explanations and updates to clients regarding the mitigation process and outcomes.
