Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Micropile Driller for on-site work in Yorkana, PA. The role involves hands-on drilling of micropiles and small-diameter foundations using Comacchio rigs, with opportunities for overtime and travel per diem.

You will review drilling plans, work with field crews, and ensure safe, compliant installations across challenging soil conditions. This is a long-term, full-time position with a specialty geotechnical contractor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of micropile drilling or closely related foundation work.
• Experience operating Comacchio rigs or equivalent equipment.
• Ability to read drawings and geotechnical information to select methods and tooling.
• Ability to interpret drilling plans and ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Comacchio drilling rigs for micropile and small-diameter drilling.
• Review drawings and plans to support drilling methods and tooling.
• Drill in various soil/rock conditions and maintain borehole quality.
• Assist micropile installation including casing, reinforcement, and grouting.
• Provide field recommendations on performance and conditions.
• Maintain records of depths, conditions, tooling, grout, and production.
• Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance.
• Identify site hazards and ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate with site teams to support safe workflows.
