Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC is seeking a Field Service Representative to handle meter service orders, including disconnects, reconnects, and readings across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. The role covers a defined on‑territory area within the OAM District (Odessa, Andrews, Monahans).

The position emphasizes safety, accuracy in energy delivery, and customer-facing professionalism, with potential travel across a broad geographic region. Texas driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• Applicants with meter reading or related electric measurement experience encouraged.
• Applicants with experience working with electric utility field service orders encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Determine the type of meters required to initiate service.
• Maintain professionalism with residential and commercial customers.
• Use proper test equipment to verify voltage and protect against hazards.
• Ensure service orders completed within specified timeframes across a wide area.
• Evaluate premises for diversion of energy and proper documentation of readings.
• Drive for long distances as needed.
