Job summary

Aqua, Inc. in Great Valley (Field Services) is hiring a Meter Setter / Meter Trouble Shooter (Third Class) with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. The role requires a valid driver’s license and potential licensure as a Journeyman or apprentice plumber.

You will install, troubleshoot and maintain water meters for Aqua’s water/wastewater services. Applicants must be able to read and interpret meter readings, anticipate maintenance needs, and work with field techs on safe operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Licensed journeyman or apprentice plumber preferred.
• Experience with installation, repair, and replacement of meters 1/2" to 2".
• Ability to read and interpret meter readings and plans.
• Knowledge of safety regulations (Company and OSHA).
• Able to lift up to 85 lbs.
• Able to work overtime, holidays and weekends.
• Proficient with Service Link, Aqua GIS, AIMS, AMRA, Banner and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and replace water meters as part of Meter Operations.
• Interpret meter readings and analyze consumption.
• Read and interpret pipeline/construction plans related to meters.
• Use computer/tablet to input and access field data (Service Link, GIS, AMRA, Banner, MS Office).
• Work overtime and after-hours as needed and on weekends.
