Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior experience is required; meter reading experience is desirable.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record is required for driving the District vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Read water meters and record consumption accurately.
• Inspect, clean, and repair meters and related plumbing as needed.
• Provide a variety of customer service functions and assist the public.
